Rubik's cube as Teaching Device

Recently, I read an article written by Brian Rohrig, a science teacher at Jonathan Alder High School in Plain City, Ohio. He has been using the Rubik's cube in his classroom as an important teaching device. He has listed out the main benefits of using the cube.
  • It builds confidence, especially with underachieving students.
  • It promotes cooperative learning.
  • It provides students with a framework for solving problem.
  • It improves spatial awareness.
  • It exercises the brain.
  • It demonstrates the need for practice.
  • It represents a pure example of true learning.
